Here is my version of honey garlic chicken wings! It turned out pretty good so I thought I would post my recipe. I will try to proper portions but I tend to just wing it. No pun intended. But I eye ball and just taste my marinade. Anyways enough random blabber and on to the recipe.
Spicy honey garlic wings:
- Quarter cup of soya sauce.
- Quarter cup of honey.
- 1 table spoon of onion powder
- 3 table spoon of chilli powder
- 1 table spoon of chili flakes (Crushed red pepper).
- 1 garlic finally chopped.
3 pounds of wings
Mix soya sauce, honey, onion powder, chilli powder, and chili flakes(Crushed red pepper) together. Taste the marinade and adjust based on your preferences. Add in the fresh garlic and chicken. Mix it all together then places the mix in a large zip lock bag. Let it marinade for min 2 hours. I usually leave it over night.
You can cook them on your bbq or cook them in the oven. In my convection oven it takes 20 min at 325 degrees.
