Simple and Easy Pesto Recipe


1 cup of fresh basil leaves, washed and patted dry

3 cloves of garlic, peeled

1/3 cup pin nuts

1/2 cup olive oil

3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Salt and Pepper to taste.


Combine the basil, garlic and pine nuts in food processor and pulse it until it is coarsely chopped.  Add in olive oil and blend it again till smooth.  Pour the mixture in a mixing bowl and fold in the cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste.  If you can’t use it all you can freeze it in to ice cubes and use it when ever you like.  I keep can hold up for around 2 – 3 months.
