I love Street Fighter! It’s the best fighting game ever created! I started playing this game on the PS3 and I’ve got to say Capcom did a great job on this one.  The game play is just solid.  Anyways I played so much of it I figured write a small guide on how to unlock all the Street Fighter 4 hidden secret characters.  I found one earlier written by gamespot I think and it didn’t really work for me.  Anyways here one that worked for me so I hope it works for you.  Now without further adieu the steps to unlocking each of the hidden characters.

Unlock Cammy – beat the final boss in arcade mode with Crimson Viper.
Unlock Fei Long – beat the final boss Seth with Abel
Unlock Gen – beat the final boss with Chun Li
Unlock Rose – beat the final boss Seth with M. Bison
Unlock Sakura – beat final boss with Ryu
Unlock Dan – beat final boss with Sakura

Tip: For unlocking the characters above you can use any character you choose.  Just make sure you die when  you reach the final boss and continue again with the proper character to finish the game.

Unlock Akuma

• Keep game timer at 99 seconds
• Get 2 perfects and 2 ultra combo finishes (don’t go over or it won’t work).
• Don’t use any continues

Unlock Gouken

• Keep game timer at 99 seconds
• Get 2 perfects and 3 ultra combo finishes
• Don’t use any continues or lose any rounds

Unlock Seth – Beat the game with all 24 characters

Final tip I just set the game to the easiest mode with only 1 round.  This way I manage to unlock all the characters in a very short period of time.

Well I just download the Street Fighter IV Fight Stick Faceplate Templates created by S_kill. They are great and you can get over at his Capcom blog here if you want to design your own faceplates. Since I download the template obviously I made my own Street Fighter IV template. You may download the fight stick template with the links below. I wanted to do more but I only have low rez images to play with. If anyone know where I may get some higher rez images let me know I wouldn’t mind making more.

To use the faceplates just download the images save it to a disk take it too a local printer (something like Kinko’s) print it out and if you want laminate it too.  Cut the holes out and mount it on to your Street Fighter IV Fight Stick.

I’ve been a big street fighter ever since street fighter hit the arcades.  I remember spending zillions of quarts just on dat machine alone.  Anyways a new Street fighter movie is about to be released and it seems like its going to be as bad as the first one.  I can go on about how Vega looks like nothing like Vega and the action seems mediocre but I guess you be the judge. Here the link to Street Fighter The Legend of Chun Li Trailer.  If you thought the Dragon Ball trailer was good then your going to be all giddy about this movie.  By the way yes Kristin Kreuk is Chun Li in this movie and I love Kristin I just don’t think I can love her in Street Fighter ;(
